Fáilte Tours
When we were choosing our company name we looked at what we
wanted to offer You our Visitor to the island of Ireland. We
decided that our main mission was to ensure that you were
WELCOME!
FÁILTE is the Irish for Welcome and so Fáilte Tours was
born.
Today Fáilte Tours still offer the Céad Mile Fáilte - one
hundred thousand welcomes!
 We
also needed a logo for the company and we decided to use the
Shamrock, which is sacred to the Irish and indeed you will
find us all wearing the Shamrock every year on St. Patrick's
Day March 17th. When you look closely at our EMBLEM you will
see that the Main Shamrock is sitting over a multitude of
small Shamrocks within an Orange Circle. This symbolises our
mission of welcoming all our visitors on our tours into our
circle of Friendship. You may be travelling alone or as part
of a group and here at Fáilte Tours we want everyone to be
part of our circle. The Circle is also very important to us
because when St. Patrick came to Ireland and began
converting the Druids to Christianity he used symbols that
they already used, such as the Circle which represented the
Sun God. This is the reason that we have the Celtic Cross -
a Cross within a Circle.
We have a selection of modern buses to take the tourist
to visit the sights in comfort.
Fáilte Tours have been organising Day Tours for many years
now and we run our day tours every day of the year except Christmas Day, St Stephens Day and New Years Day.
We run the Giant's Causeway Day Tour, the Connemara Day Tour, the Cliffs of Moher Day Tour
and the Aran Islands Tour from both Dublin and Galway. We
also offer Day Tours such as the North Coast & Castle Tour,
the South Coast & Gardens Tour, together with the Dublin Hop
On Hop Off Tour and of course the Ghostbus Tour. We also organise Special Day Tours for private groups and we are more than happy to tailor fit a Tour Package to suit you.
We also arrange Airport Transfers and Corporate Travel, together with our Golfing Packages and our Short or extended tours.
